A FLEXIBLE SHINY TRACKER

Track Shiny Pokémon by species and generation

Select the Shiny tag to see the entire Pokédex as a dedicated Shiny checklist. Mark individual species or bulk-select a generation, then switch back to Caught without losing any Shiny progress.

This keeps “I own the species” separate from “I own its Shiny.” A Pokémon can be caught without being Shiny, or carry several collection tags at once.

Not every species can currently be Shiny, Shadow, Mega, or Gigantamax in Pokémon GO. DexJourney uses curated eligibility lists so impossible combinations are disabled instead of appearing as missing goals.

Availability can change with new events and game updates, so category data is reviewed independently and includes a review date. “Released” means historically obtainable and does not promise that a Pokémon is available in the current event rotation.

Forms matter: A Shiny may be available for one form or event appearance but not another. Use the Forms & Variants Dex when you need form-level records rather than only a species-level goal.

BULK WORKFLOW

Update a generation without repetitive tapping

1. Choose a collection tag such as Shiny, Lucky, or Perfect.
2. Select the generation you want to update.
3. Use bulk select to mark eligible Pokémon in that category.
4. Use bulk deselect to correct or reset that generation without changing other tags.
5. Switch tags and repeat; each category keeps its own progress.
